About Only the Human

Only the Human (OTH) exists because we believe that everybody has a need to connect, express their creativity and contribute to their culture. We do this through comedy and play because we know laughter builds strong bonds between people – and everything we do depends on strong relationships. Only the Human believes that good improv comedy is mostly about being a good person. We trust one another, listen closely, and play recklessly to become the best version of ourselves on and off stage. Improv classes aren’t just for funny people, they're for people. Improv is about relationships, trust, and vulnerability and we find the funny in the every day, by being ourselves. Improv skills are life skills. We help people collaborate better, speak more confidently, and get out of their comfort zone. Our improv classes offer personal skills, professional skills, and funny skills all wrapped up in one.
